SUPPORT GROUPS (non-horse related) FOR WOMEN

Support groups are held in the friendly, comfortable atmosphere of the COUNSELING CONNECTION   in SHELBY TWP, MICHIGAN (Just minutes from Rochester, Sterling Heights, Troy, Romeo, and Utica!)

WOMEN AND TRAUMA: this is a group for individuals struggling with issues regarding:  

•          CHILDHOOD SEXUAL/EMOTIONAL and PHYSICAL ABUSE

•          RAPE OR SEXUAL ASSAULT

•          OR ANY OTHER TRAUMATIC EVENT

If you feel like “damaged goods:,” have flashbacks, issues of shame,  trouble in your current life because of past abuse, this is the group for you.

This group is now forming.  Call us at (586)260-5664 for information.

 WOMEN COPING WITH LIFE:  This down to earth group covers self-esteem issues, relationships, .life transitions, and any present day issue you may be struggling with.  If you want to want to improve the quality of your life and share your concerns with other women, this may be just the support group you have been looking for.  

This group meets on Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.  Pre-registration is necessary.  Please call for registration information.

   All groups are facilitated by Gail Linn, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Trauma Consultant.  Gail has 15 years experience as an individual and group counselor.
